The action takes place in the distant future, where humanity has entrusted control to artificial intelligence and has problems with freedoms. In addition to shootouts, indie developers have added mechanics from other genres: hacking systems, working with different types of weapons, including a bow with a ricochet, and short physical tasks that have to be performed with your hands. The game keeps the pace and does not allow you to relax: enemies attack from different sides, and there is always less ammunition than you want. The weapon feels like a real object - it needs to be reloaded, and aiming depends on how you hold your hands. It is also worth mentioning that the videos between levels were filmed with the participation of actors and are presented as a small science fiction film from a first-person view. Between battles, there are puzzles and mental tasks that help relieve stress and not overload your hands. There are also plenty of comfort settings here: you can choose a convenient method of movement to avoid unpleasant sensations in the helmet. SILICON RISING is an example of how a VR game differs from a regular shooter: it forces the body to work as well as the head and turns every fight into a small athletic exercise. For helmet owners, this is one of the most interesting action games in the library.
