Ready or Not

Ready or Not is a tactical shooter that positions itself as a special forces simulator and grew out of love for SWAT 4.. The main emphasis is on realism and cruelty: here no one stands up after a line at point-blank range, and mistakes cost the lives of hostages and partners. The procedure has been worked out to the point of automaticity: checking the door, stairs, corners, detaining and reporting, and for violation they are punished. Before each operation, a briefing is held: the building plan is studied, entry points are outlined, and equipment is selected. The choice of shield, stun grenades and non-lethal means determines how the assault will end, because orders have to be given amid shouts and stress. Suspects don't always surrender, and civilians throw themselves in fear, forcing you to quickly decide who to save first. Inside, everything lives by its own rules: suspects can surrender, run away, or open fire, and panicked hostages interfere with work. Furniture, mirrors and thin walls affect visibility and bullets, so silence and preparation are valued over speed. Blood, screams and the smell of gunpowder are presented without embellishment to emphasize how serious the work is considered. Single player campaign, squad co-op and online matches are available for those who want to test tactics against people. Weapons, armor, and gadgets are highly customizable, and community mods add maps and gear. Player selection allows you to assemble a squad of five people, where one is in command, and the rest cover and search the premises. For anyone who likes a serious approach to special operations without heroics on the run, this game is suitable.
