Raft

Raft sends the hero into the open ocean on a shipwreck: all around is water, scraps of garbage and hunger. The first steps are to make a detour and catch everything that is useful from the waves, from boards to seeds. Experience and knowledge are gradually transformed into new recipes: dishes are made from seaweed and fish, and tools are made from scrap metal. What is collected turns into buildings: the deck expands, walls, a roof, beds, a stove, a kitchen and a desalination plant appear. Thirst and hunger set the daily routine, and sharks are on duty in the water, who are not averse to biting off a piece of the raft if it is not strengthened. Some animals are tamed and become pets that you can take with you on a voyage. After some time, the journey ceases to be just a drift: islands appear on the horizon, reefs and debris appear under water, and points for searching for resources are marked on the map. Diving for metal and ore requires breathing tanks and a willingness to encounter local wildlife. The islands are inhabited by animals, and in some places it is better to keep your eyes open and monitor oxygen levels. You can operate the raft alone or together with friends, distributing the roles between a builder, a fisherman and a diver. Updates have added a storyline with research stations, and now the journey has a goal, rather than one endless drift. Trading stations and research ships come across along the route and open new blueprints, for which you don’t mind spending resources.
