Prodeus is a first-person shooter in the spirit of the classics. The basis is taken from the techniques of Doom and Quake, but rethought by modern standards. Blood and scraps remain on the walls. Pixel textures are intentionally large. The final battles gather several waves at once. Ammunition is replenished from boxes. The music speeds up in battle. The theme continues until the very end. Shootings are going on at top speed. There are many enemies, and they come from all sides. The arsenal consists of shotguns, plasma cannons and heavy weapons. Each weapon feels different. Opponents are divided into small creatures and large bosses. The crowd completely fills the corridors. Levels are divided into short sections with secrets. The reward for finds is issued immediately. The community releases its own campaigns. The selection of maps is being updated. The levels lead through stations and dark corridors. Secrets are hidden in secluded passages. Community maps are voted on. The best ones are included in the selections. Opponents do not hide behind cover, but run towards you. The intensity of the battle does not subside until the end of the level. Enemies' heavy armor flies off when hit. The wounded creatures continue to climb. You can assemble levels yourself in the built-in editor. The community shares maps. Music speeds up the rhythm of battles. Switching weapons is done with one button.
