Nova Drift

Nova Drift is an action game with role-playing elements and a top-down view. The player takes the helm of a space fighter. There are always more enemies, and they also have enough firepower. Bosses take up half the screen and require dodging and precision. The danger is growing, and the race is accelerating every minute. The race ends with the death of the ship, and a new one begins. The ship is built on biomechanics and looks alive. He changes in appearance and acquires new weapons as the battle progresses. Builds are made from dozens of improvements. Improvements are divided into offensive and defensive, and they can be mixed. The controls rely on movement and shooting, and they are simple in appearance only. Bosses appear at regular intervals. Improvements are collected from dozens of different modules. The waves go on without stopping, and there are almost no pauses between them. Trained artificial intelligence generates waves of enemies, so races are not repeated. Upgrading the ship goes along with the growth of the threat. The player is trying to get to the top places in the tables. The ship lives and changes: the hull acquires details right in battle. The fighter fires automatically, and the player guides it between waves. Collected improvements are transferred to the record table. Records are kept separately for each ship class. Each new attempt suggests which combinations work best. The race lasts until the first serious mistake. Waves of enemies come one after another, and the respite is short. Artifacts provide boosts and change the appearance of the ship. For those who love space races, this game is suitable.
