New Cycle is a dark city-planning simulator and part-time colony management simulator. The setting is post-apocalyptic, and the action takes place in the near future, where people are divided into tribes. After a powerful solar flare, the planet plunged into chaos. The player is offered to create a new civilization on the ruins of the old one and restore the unity of humanity. Radiation and storms interfere with construction. A group of survivors finds themselves under leadership. A modest shelter will be transformed into a thriving metropolis. Changing nature and destructive disasters will interfere: due to problems with the atmosphere, seasonal cycles have become inconsistent. Caravans connect settlements with each other. The change of seasons noticeably transforms the map: in winter, the location is covered with snow. The weather is also changeable. Food needs to be grown, minerals mined, production chains built, traded with other settlements, technologies researched. Workshops process scrap metal. The main emphasis is on industrial development: dozens of factories are being built. The construction system allows you to freely arrange objects and, if desired, divide the settlement into grids. The main resource is the residents themselves. Their needs have to be met by monitoring morale, manpower and work efficiency. If this is not done, the townspeople will revolt.
