MOTORSLICE

Motorslice is an action-adventure game with parkour elements that tells the story of everyday work among the wreckage of a colossal megastructure. The main character, named Pi, is armed with a heavy chainsaw. The megastructure consists of levels connected by passages and elevators. Concrete, rust and machine beeps form a recognizable image. She is tasked with penetrating the depths of an abandoned industrial labyrinth and destroying equipment that has gotten out of control. A routine clearing mission quickly turns into a dangerous confrontation with monumental machinery lurking in the shadows of concrete walls. Pi moves deeper and monumental mechanisms appear as bosses. Small enemies unite in groups, so it is better to use the environment to your advantage. Bosses take up entire arenas, so dodging is as important as hitting. Battles are presented quickly, and moving through the levels requires dexterity: lifting, jumping and working with the environment. Pi discusses her role in this world, and the heroine's voice is voiced by Kira Buckland. Melancholy coexists with the fury of battle. Parkour meets slashing: the chainsaw works both as a weapon and as a tool. The blows push back opponents, which helps prevent them from being surrounded. The design is in rough industrial tones, and the music emphasizes the scale of the structures. The heroine's conversations are recorded separately and sound like thinking out loud. For those who love heavy mechanisms and fast fights, this construction site is suitable. The game will be released in early access, and the demo version has already shown combat.
