Метро: Исход is a post-apocalyptic adventure where Artyom leaves the Order and thinks about a quiet life with his wife Anna. Humanity is still hiding in the subway tunnels after a nuclear war, and there is little left of the old world above. The calm does not last long: the heroes set off on a long journey on the Aurora steam locomotive. The goal is to find people who survived on the surface. The route passes through the Moscow metro, the banks of the Volga and a bunker in Yamantau, and each stop has its own rules. The train becomes a home: it is equipped, repaired and protected. Between transfers, you can listen to the conversations of your companions and select equipment. Cartridges and filters are worth their weight in gold, and forays into the air require preparation. In addition to the plot, there are tasks where you need to help fellow travelers, and small events along the way depend on this. Weapons are repaired and improved directly in the carriage's workshop. The darkness on the surface is dangerous, and mutants do not forgive haste. Filters and cartridges are used up quickly, so outings are planned in advance. Weather on the surface changes visibility, and the danger is greater at night. You come across people between stations, and conversations with them affect your attitude towards the Order. Weapons are repaired in the carriage's workshop, and upgrades are assembled from found parts. Companions comment on the situation and suggest where to look for supplies. Some tasks are revealed only with a careful conversation in the carriage. Radio conversations add to the anxiety. The atmosphere is based on the silence of the tunnels and the noise of the train. For those players who want to go a long way with the hero, the game is suitable.
