LEMURIA

LEMURIA is an action adventure game in a spy setting, where the player controls two characters at once: Alex, a guy from a poor region, and Cantu Anora, an agent from India. Their paths lead to the territory of Lemuria in Africa, and there the bulk of the story unfolds. Switching between characters is not a formality: each has their own skills and their own role in the scenes. Somewhere you need strength and pressure, somewhere you need composure and the ability to act quietly. Shootouts coexist with episodes in the spirit of a spy movie: surveillance, chases, negotiations. The plot is presented through tasks and cutscenes, and politics, corporations and personal accounts of the heroes are involved. In addition to the main line, there are side quests that reveal the situation and people around. It is also worth noting that between the shootouts there are episodes in the spirit of spy films: surveillance, changing clothes, conversations under pressure. In addition to the two heroes, there are third parties in the story whose interests do not coincide with the goals of the squad. The chapter format allows you to play through the game in parts. Technically the project is modest, but the plot does not sag, and the scenes are staged with attention to detail. It is also worth noting that the setting in some places is reminiscent of urban slums and markets, and the atmosphere is based on the details. There is also an increased difficulty mode for those for whom standard shootings are not enough. The game was made without a large budget, so the graphics and animations are simple, and the appearance of the characters is conventional in places. But the production is fast-paced, and for those who love action-adventure films with two heroes, the LEMURIA provides exactly that experience.
