LEGO Worlds

From the outside, the LEGO Worlds looks like an ordinary construction set, but in reality it is a sandbox where you can build anything - from a house with a garden to an entire archipelago with underwater caves. The world is generated randomly, biomes replace each other, and any site is allowed to be dug, built up or dismantled to the last brick. Studio Traveller's Tales, known for its games about Marvel and Indiana Jones, is responsible for the project, only here instead of linear levels there is complete freedom. There are enough tools: a brush for painting and cloning, a shovel for relief, devices for creating your own creatures and vehicles. The house you like can be copied and moved to your place, and the found golden bricks open up new equipment - helicopters, submarines, dragons, spaceships. The tasks of the local residents are simple: build a bridge, find something missing, fill the pool. They don’t so much force you to do something as they hint at what to do next. It’s more fun for two people to navigate the network: one builds, the other breaks everything built, and this is also part of the fun. There is no rigid plot: the world is explored at its own pace, no one rushes the player or forces him to run through a list of tasks. You can spend years improving one village, or you can give up everything and fly to another planet with different vegetation and strange inhabitants. For creative people there are separate tools - terraforming, character and vehicle designer, as well as sharing buildings with other players. The disadvantages players include are the same type of random worlds and not the most convenient overview, but there is enough room for imagination. The LEGO Worlds is good for those who love not competition, but the process of creation itself - sat down in the evening to build a castle, and woke up in the morning, completing the construction of a pier.
