Description
International Basketball 2010 is a basketball simulator where, in addition to national teams, you can take control of clubs from different regions and bring together teams in one tournament that almost never meet in reality. This freedom makes the project interesting for those who are tired of the usual leagues.
The gameplay is based on more advanced physics: the movement of players and the flight of the ball have become more believable, which is why matches are more dynamic, and the outcome of episodes is less likely to look random. Throws, screens and struggles under the basket require awareness of the situation, and the defense punishes rushing.
Tournaments and friendly matches allow you to test yourself against the computer or other players, and difficulty settings help you choose the right level. The style of the game is more modest than that of the leading series of the genre, but the basic mechanics work honestly, and the interface does not interfere with monitoring what is happening on the site.
It is also worth noting that international tournaments can be organized at your own discretion: bring together clubs and teams from different regions and see who is stronger. Settings for the difficulty and duration of matches allow you to play both short matches and full-fledged tournaments. This is enough for variety in the genre.
The game is known primarily in Europe and has not achieved worldwide fame, but for those who love basketball and want to try non-standard matches, it remains an interesting option.
