This is mini golf without strict rules: up to twelve players simultaneously enter the same field and try to hit the ball into the hole, but interfering with each other is allowed and even encouraged. The game came out of early access in 2020 and lives on online gatherings and a workshop. The fields are designed according to themes: tropical islands, ancient pyramids, space, forest, depths of the sea. The holes are simple until the first players pass them - then the real fuss begins, because the balls push each other and the trajectories break. There are no penalties for hitting someone else's ball, but you can knock your opponent out of a comfortable position. A special treat is the level editor. Your own courses are assembled from ready-made parts, and you can find thousands of other people's work online, from neat classic courses to outright obstacle courses. Some levels include optional rules that change the physics and behavior of the ball. Almost everything can be configured in the lobby: the number of holes, the time limit for hitting, counting rules and additional conditions that make the game more chaotic. You can push the ball, cut it and send your opponent into the water, and at the same time receive displeasure from the whole company for this. The workshop courses add variety, with both neatly assembled classic tracks and outright obstacle courses for the patient. The game works great as a background for conversation: the games are short, you can enter at any time, and victory is valued not for accuracy, but for the ability not to be the first to fail. Golf With Your Friends is not a sport, but a good company on one virtual field.
