Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves offers something that is hard to find in other games: a real sailboat, a live crew and an endless ocean. Each match starts with choosing a character and a ship, and then everything depends on how many people are on board and how well they work together. Ships come in three sizes, and the type of ship determines how many people are needed to operate it and how fast it goes. The ship requires constant attention: the sails are set to the wind, the anchor is dropped on time, and water accumulates in the hold, which must be bailed out. One person can handle a schooner, but a large galleon usually has a crew of four pirates, each with their own task. The crew has enough to do: one holds the helm, the second watches the sails, the third loads the cannon, the fourth seals the holes. There are plenty of things to do in the open world: treasure maps, cursed skulls, forts with hordes of skeletons, trading voyages and secret orders. The rewards for them are gold and reputation, and they only buy decorations for themselves and the ship, so the rich have no advantages. Dangers are natural and human: storms, shoals, sharks, volcanoes and other commands that do not always come in peace. Sometimes it’s easier to come to an agreement and divide the spoils, sometimes a naval battle begins with boarding under the shouts of the crew. In the meantime, you can meet other players, exchange goods and part ways peacefully, or you can remember them for the future.
