Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 takes the action of the series to America: the religious sect “Gates of Eden” has captured Montana County and established its own rules there. The player finds himself in the role of a sheriff's deputy, whose squad is defeated in the first minutes. The sectarians control the roads, and the appearance of a hero in the region causes a hunt on their part. The enemy's sermons are heard on the radio and in recordings, and there is no hiding from them. The territory is divided between the three “children” of the prophet Joseph Seed, and each region has its own orders, its own minions and its own methods of pressure. Regions can be liberated in any order, and resistance increases with the number of tasks completed. Resistance can be supported with money and people, and some of the tasks are related to local residents. The world is full of things to do: clearing roadblocks, rescuing hostages, hunting, fishing and flying an airplane. Mercenaries with different personalities join the hero and comment on what is happening, and the animals behave lively enough to cause trouble. Partners like the pilot and sniper provide cover in battle, but require attention and themselves come under fire. Co-op allows you to go through the campaign together, and a separate mode allows you to collect your own cards. The expansions took the player to Vietnam, Mars, and the world of zombies, where the rules changed again. The world is full of randomness: patrols drive along the roads, and planes fall from the sky. The map editor mode provides separate scenarios for every taste. Anyone who loves open regions and confrontations with a charismatic villain will enjoy this story.
