Factorio takes you to an unfamiliar planet, which has to be prepared for human life. This is a sandbox with a top view and two-dimensional graphics, where everything starts with ore mining and the first mechanisms, and ends with entire industrial complexes. Scientific research is discovering more and more complex technologies, and with them the load on the head is growing. Individual diagrams and drawings can be saved and transferred between worlds. The order of work is clear: resources are extracted, parts are assembled from them, buildings and science are made from parts. Manual labor quickly becomes a bottleneck, so it is replaced by conveyors, manipulators and trains. Trains and robotic loaders eliminate unnecessary transportation, but require signals and traffic rules. Gradually, the plant grows: power lines, liquid pipes and logistics networks require planning, otherwise production stops due to one shortage. The local wildlife is dissatisfied with the pollution and from time to time goes to destroy buildings, so we also have to prepare for defense. Power plants are tied to production: network overload can shut down an entire area of ​​the plant. Co-op allows you to build together, sharing plots and blueprints, and modifications turn the game into an endless playground for experimentation. Some users go so far as to calculate the capacity in cars per hour. The planet is generated anew at start, so the arrangement of resources looks different each time. For those who love order, calculations and observing a working mechanism, this planet becomes a second home.
