ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a separate part of the universe, which takes place in Limgrave, the first open area of ​​​​the original game. This is an unfamiliar version of a familiar place: the world here is procedurally generated, so every foray looks different. The terrain and content of the world changes from race to race, and the route has to be chosen according to the situation. The nature of the night cycle sets the schedule: with sunset, new dangers open up. The player, along with two partners, enters a cycle of three days, and each day ends with a boss fight. To reach the final test, the squad explores the area, collects equipment and selects skills. Equipment is obtained in battle and from merchants, and before each day it has to be distributed among the fighters. Night Guards have their own abilities that stack with each other: the combination of skills sets the tone for the entire party. Not a single decision in battle, search or planning passes without leaving a trace, and a single passage is considered extremely difficult. Bosses require coordination: without the protection of a partner, even a strong hero falls quickly. Eight heroes with different roles allow you to choose a style to suit your team, and the randomness of the world throws up rare finds and unexpected opponents. In a raid, consistency is more important than individual skill. Limited time and constant pressure turn each session into a short campaign. For those who found the first game too slow, this format becomes fast and team-based.
