Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp

Fifty days of vacation, Jabberwock Island, warm sea and 62 students in swimsuits - this is what Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp looks like. The spin-off of the cult series begins with Monokuma offering all participants a program for developing “absolute talents”, and players have a rare opportunity to see their favorite heroes without deadly games, trials and constant anticipation of a catch. It is based on the mode from the third part, which has grown into a separate game. There is a virtual board game: the character walks through the cells, collects cards, pumps up characteristics and gets involved in events that reveal the characters from an unexpected side. Battles take place in a turn-based format, and not only the main character is involved in development - the team is gradually acquiring new fighters. All the characters of the franchise are collected in one place: here are graduates of the first part, acquaintances from the second, and heroes of V3, including versions from different publications. A draw for awards helps you get the right student, so part of your time is spent putting together a dream team, and part of your time is spent on leveling up and selecting equipment. Leveling up works like in classic role-playing games: each student has his own characteristics, skills and weaknesses, and it is more profitable to assemble a team from different archetypes. Events on the cells throw up not only battles, but also scenes - heroes chat, quarrel, fall in love and find themselves in ridiculous situations on the beach. Progress is saved between visits, so it’s convenient to go through summer camp in parts, between other things, without rushing and without losing the thread of the story. Don't expect any darkness or investigations: the narrative is based on fan service, jokes and references, understandable to those who have completed at least one numbered game. Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a tender gift to fans: a long summer with their favorite characters, where they can finally just talk and relax.
