Description

Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter with leveling up abilities and passive improvements, like in a role-playing adventure. This is a direct continuation of the first game, where the focus is on the plot and a more advanced weapon editor with a lot of modifications. The game was released as a direct continuation of the first part, and familiar faces can be found at almost every station. Barrels vary by manufacturer: some manufacturers value accuracy, others value tempo, while others hit harder but overheat or scatter bullets. Parts like the magazine, sight, and elemental effect are collected as you progress, so by the middle of the game you end up with something unique in your hands. Elements like fire, acid, and shock affect different opponents differently, which means weapons have to be changed to suit the situation. The main antagonist is Handsome Jack: he comments on events, teases the heroes and makes the final showdown a personal matter. Humor, grotesque bandits and the bright desert of Pandora keep the mood even in side quests. Side quests sometimes look absurd, but almost every one ends with an unexpected twist. It's best to play in groups: up to four vault hunters share the loot, cover each other and select classes to suit their overall style. The expansions added new characters, regions, and raids, leaving plenty of replay material for years to come. Characters are upgraded through three branches, and the selected skills change the entire style of play. Anyone who loves high-speed shooting, endless loot and fair-level jokes will find plenty of fun here.
