Battlefield 6 continues the famous first-person shooter series and brings it back to big battles. The developers abandoned previous experiments and again relied on huge maps, equipment and destruction, due to which the battlefield changes right during the match. Destructibility became one of the main themes: the walls of houses collapse under fire, and the shelter where the player was just hiding disappears. The action takes place in the Middle East and neighboring countries, including Kazakhstan, where the interests of major powers collide. The player experiences intense firefights, destructible shelters, ground and air transport, as well as local landscapes made with the new generation of technology in mind. Transport is available almost everywhere: tanks, helicopters, ATVs and boats, and each type of equipment requires its own skill. Weapons behave differently: each model has its own recoil, weight and rate of fire, so you have to get used to each gun. Ray tracing and other modern technologies are responsible for lighting and reflections, adding credibility to the picture. The game has both a single-player part and network modes with a large set of maps, where squads share roles between stormtroopers, medics and engineers. Coordination is more important than personal score: one player with a repair burner can hold a point no worse than an entire squad. Modes vary in scale: from skirmishes in narrow passages to captures with dozens of people, and the maps and weapons will last for a long time. For everyone who missed large-scale battles with tanks and helicopters, this part promises the return of a familiar feeling.
