Alina of the Arena

Alina of the Arena is a compact mixture of card roguelike and turn-based tactics about a gladiator girl named Alina. She is thrown into the arena to entertain a bloodthirsty audience, and the only way to survive is to win fights one after another. Visually, the project is made in pixel graphics with a slight touch of 16-bit JRPGs, and the camera looks at the arena from above at an angle. Each fight fits into one screen: walk around the cells, play attack, block and power-up cards, dodge and take advantageous positions. Some cards hit a single target, others cover several enemies at once. Between battles, the deck is rebuilt, adding new techniques, and bosses require especially thoughtful assembly. All this is served with a generous portion of blood and meat.
