The Sims 3 is a life simulator for a family or one person who will soon acquire loved ones. The project combines tactics, economics and role-playing elements. You can populate the city with your own families and monitor several households at once. Weather and time of day affect activities. The main difference from previous parts in the open city: characters freely walk around the area, go to work and meet neighbors without loading screens. There are other families living inside the city that are developing on their own. The needs of the characters require attention, otherwise the mood drops. Work and study open up career paths. Careers require communicating with colleagues and running errands. Character development is based on character traits and desires, and careers, relationships and hobbies influence mood. Building and decorating a house is considered a separate pleasure, and the appearance editor allows you to create anyone you want. Construction allows you to change the layout of the house and site without restrictions. The house can be sold or rebuilt for a new family. Additions expanded the possibilities: animals, seasons, travel and much more appeared. Community modifications and content still live today. Expansions add animals, seasons, and travel. Neighbors live their own lives and change along with the city. The dream house is being assembled gradually, taking into account the family budget.
