The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is an adventure in Middle-earth where a band of dwarves descend into ancient mines to reclaim their lost home. Events take place in the Fourth Age, and Gimli is found among the companions. The mines are built by hand: light, darkness and sounds make it clear that someone is nearby. Mining and crafting feed the squad, and the fortress is gradually being developed. Running through the tunnels alone is dangerous, so a group of three or four people is a common thing. Materials for construction are sought in the depths. A squad of dwarves descends into the mines behind the lost house. Light and sound indicate that someone is nearby. Mining and crafting feed the campaign. The fortress is being developed gradually. Materials are sought in depth. The gnomes comment on the findings. The prey feeds the campaign and the construction site. The gnomes comment on finds and losses. The squad descends deeper and deeper, and with each level it gets darker. Materials for construction are sought in abandoned halls, and light has to be used sparingly. The dwarves are looking for lost halls and dream of reclaiming their home. The hikes are dragging on, and supplies are dwindling. Each dive begins with setting up camp, and light and supplies are counted by weight. The dwarves argue about the plan while the hero searches for ore. The detachment goes deeper, so it is expensive to return for supplies. The light of the torch gives the squad away, and creatures in the dark react to the noise. Tools break and have to be repaired along the way. The dwarves share plans and argue about the route. Songs and conversations break up the descent. The darkness presses on the squad, and they have to go down with torches. Rewards from trips are spent on new tools and food. This game is suitable for everyone who loves Middle-earth and underground halls.
