Starsand

Starsand - the desert stretches to the horizon, and the hero comes to his senses in the middle of the dunes, not understanding how he ended up here. There is no water or food, and the heat is exhausting from the first steps, so any action has to be calculated. In addition to animals and thirst, there are traps in the desert left by those who lived here before. Drinking, eating and resting consume energy, and during the day the sun takes energy faster. Prolonged fatigue and dehydration affect the mind: the picture floats, and the world becomes more dangerous. Tools wear out, water has to be desalinated, and the nights get cold. You can navigate by the stars, but it’s more reliable to use the marks on the map where finds are added. Caches of former explorers sometimes contain parts for equipment. There are plenty of dangers: animals either attack or run away, so hunting requires skill. At the same time, you have to look for traces of the former inhabitants and figure out what is hidden under the layer of sand. Supplies collected in caches help to survive particularly difficult transitions between ruins and oases, and rare materials are used to improve equipment. Ruins and ancient sites hold mysteries, and discoveries in them reveal the history of the planet. Sometimes people come across, but not all of them are happy to meet you. The plot unfolds through notes and encounters, and the further the hero gets, the clearer it becomes what happened to the planet. You can go through the project at your own pace, but it won’t let you relax. For everyone who loves survival in the open world and doesn't expect the desert to be kind to him.
