Each new member of the family has their own traits, and they significantly affect the passage: someone sees poorly, but hits harder, someone cannot distinguish an enemy from an object, and someone receives an ability that seems useless, but suddenly helps out. It is from these combinations that the character of each race is formed. Leveling up is maintained between attempts: the resources found are invested in improving the castle, unlocking new skills and classes. Fights require mobility: there are a lot of enemies, and you won’t be able to stand still. Separately, it is worth noting that bosses guard the passages between regions, and you need to get to them with a sufficiently pumped up character. In addition, there are chests with rare improvements that significantly change the rules of the race. There is also a mode with ready-made tests, where the conditions are preset. The game is long, but progress is not lost: a failed descent still brings you closer to the next improvement. For those who like dark dungeons and don't mind repetition, this is a solid option. It is also worth noting that the game allows you to cancel the unsuccessful choice of an heir and try another one. The game is designed for repeated visits and loves the patient. For those who don't mind diving into dungeons over and over again, the Rogue Legacy 2 provides both challenge and plenty of motivation to keep going.
