Medieval: Total War - Collection

Medieval: Total War - Collection is a strategy game with real 3D combat where you build a dynasty in the Middle Ages. The setting is Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, and the period covers from 1087 to 1453. There are two modes: global, where buildings are erected and an empire develops, and combat, in which bloody battles take place against opponents of different sizes and levels. The goal remains the same - to build an empire that will become the central state of all of Europe. You have to influence people with religion, and influence enemies with politics and military affairs. Initially, the player receives three agents: an emissary, a spy and an assassin. With their help, information about opponents is obtained. The basis is total control over subordinates and the army. You can go through several story campaigns for the sake of historical events: the battles of Frederick Barbarossa, William Wallace, some battles of the Hundred Years' War. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Crusades. Economics, politics, trade and religion give the dynasty stability among twelve factions. The Collector's Edition features the Viking faction that raged across Europe from the eighth century to the end of the eleventh. The battles are based on the usual wargame: an army is assembled, led into battle and wins or loses. The difference is that troops can be controlled through characters and their artificial intelligence, or they can take responsibility themselves. A medieval army requires tactical formations and techniques that put the enemy to flight. More than fifteen thousand soldiers fit on one screen, and the Viking Invasion add-on covers the period from 793 to 1066. For those who love historical battles, this game is suitable.
