Kanjozoku Game

Kanjozoku Game is a racing simulator steeped in Japanese Kanjo street racing culture. The action takes place in the night city of the nineties: neon signs, illuminated overpasses, empty junctions and dense traffic in which you have to maneuver at high speed. The atmosphere here is more important than the number of cars: you feel as if you are driving on a real night highway, and not on a training ground. In addition to single races, there is a multiplayer section where you can get together with other players and have a spontaneous race along the highway. The races differ in format: in some places you need to drive a section against the clock, in others you need to overtake rivals in live traffic, and in others you need to hold a skid at the exit of a turn. The cars are customized to suit your own style: suspension, tires and engine settings change the behavior of the car so much that the same road can be passed in completely different ways. Tuning here is not a decoration, but a way to adjust the equipment to a specific route. It’s also worth noting that the game has a progression system: victories unlock parts and new cars. Single mode allows you to learn routes without the pressure of live opponents, and then move on to online races. For fans of Japanese car culture, there are enough details to recognize the familiar atmosphere. The project is made for those who love Japanese automotive culture, and conveys its spirit much more accurately than large arcade games. For fans of night racing, this is a rare and accurate find.
