Get To Work, Succubus-Chan! is a vertical scrolling shooter, where explicit content is added to the usual mechanics of piercing hordes of enemies, and the action is presented as a dream of the main character. His boss turns out to be a succubus, and both the tone and design of the project depend on this. The combat part is built according to the canons of the genre: the ship is flying upward, there are many enemies, and there are hundreds of shells on the screen at the same time. It is impossible to dodge everything - you need to clear your window of fire and not lose your vigilance. There are bosses with their own attack patterns, and the hero is upgraded between levels. The difficulty gradually increases: the further you go, the denser the flow of bullets becomes and the more often you have to resort to special abilities. A mistake costs one life out of several, so the tension persists even in short sessions. Separately, it is worth noting that the ship has several types of weapons, and the choice between them affects the style of passage: one option hits widely, the other deals more damage to the point. As the game progresses, upgrades are unlocked, and open scenes can be viewed between levels. There are more and more enemies, so by the middle of the run, avoiding damage is more important than increasing firepower. The controls can be simplified: on medium difficulty, hits are forgiven, but on maximum difficulty you have to remember the attack patterns of all bosses. The project is intended for an adult audience, and this is explicitly stated. For those who love bullet hell, the mechanics here are familiar and working; the rest should understand that a significant part of the presentation is related to the erotic content, and not just to the gameplay.
