FINAL FANTASY 9

FINAL FANTASY 9 - the ninth part of the franchise returns the series to its roots: instead of futurism and machine aesthetics, the player finds himself in the world of Gaia, where knights, magicians and talking animals live next to people. The story begins with a troupe of traveling performers and the kidnapping of a princess, and ends with a conversation about life and death. Zidane, Garnet and Vivi meet by chance, but by the middle of the journey they can no longer be separated. The main character Zidane is not a lone warrior, but a participant in performances with a tail and daggers. Along with him in the squad are Princess Garnet, the little magician Vivi and the knight Steiner; Everyone has their own fears and reasons for sticking together. Crystals and cards give access to additional skills, but for them you have to play mini-games for a while. Skills here are learned from equipment: in order to permanently secure the ability, the item must be worn for a long time. Due to this, collecting equipment becomes part of leveling up, and not buying more numbers. Skills are learned slowly, so each character has several roles that they are better at than others. Battles take place according to the ATB system with active pauses, and the accumulated trance scale gives the character an enhanced form. Weapon skills cost mana depending on the class, so the order of moves and ether reserves have to be planned. The world consists of big cities and wild lands: narrow streets, a train station, a hunting village, a doomed tree. On the way, the squad finds itself in theatrical scenes, stylized as performances, and this gives the story a special intonation. Some bosses appear only when conditions are met, and some of the secrets are related to side quests. For those players who consider this part the warmest in the series and want to go through it again.
