Cult of the Lamb

Cult of the Lamb puts the player at the head of their own cult in the lands of the false prophets. You need to gather a community of admirers and spread your word among the forest dwellers. Followers give sermons, work on farms, and participate in rituals, and their faith directly influences the strength of the cult. During the day, the settlement is managed: food, housing, sermons and punishments influence the faith of the followers. Missing rituals and bad moods lead to quarrels, so taking care of the flock is no less necessary than fighting. Forays take place across regions with their own enemies, and between campaigns new cards and abilities are unlocked. At night, the roguelike begins: forays into regions with weapons, curses and skill cards. Each campaign provides materials and new followers, and death does not cancel progress. False Prophet bosses require a prepared deck and attention to their attacks. Sermons, marriages and holidays affect the strength of followers, and some rituals unlock bonuses for forays. There are a lot of enemies and bosses, and the art style and music add a dark charm to the proceedings. Additions have expanded the range of regions and capabilities. Updates and expansions have added followers, weapons, and whole new areas. After the finale, an expansion remains with new regions and followers, so the cult can be developed further. Demons and heretics require different tactics, and some encounters take place in tight spaces where speed is more important. Anyone who likes a mixture of controls and combat runs will find this cult entertaining.
