Crossroads Inn is an inn simulator with role-playing elements, set in the fantasy world of Delcris. The establishment needs to be developed: build rooms, hire people, run the kitchen and cellar, monitor accounts and reputation. The guests come from different backgrounds - from peasants to nobles - and each has their own needs. At the same time, you have to deal with the plot: the tavern has a political background, and how it all ends depends on the decisions made. In addition to management, there is an adventure part: errands, travel, meetings. You can make mistakes in small things: the wrong drink, the wrong room, and the guest leaves irritated, and rumors spread throughout the area. It is also worth noting that the game takes into account reputation among different groups of guests: what the peasants like may not please the nobility. There are also seasonal changes in demand, so the assortment has to be reviewed rather than purchasing the same thing. In addition to managing the inn, the hero participates in plot events, and how Martin’s story ends depends on his decisions. There are also difficulty settings that allow you to relax the requirements for the economy and focus on history and arrangement. The game requires attention to detail and seems difficult at first. But the Crossroads Inn provides a rare combination for the genre: the tavern here is not a decoration, but the center of history, around which all local life revolves.
