Betrayed

Betrayed - the hero gets into an accident and finds himself on the verge between life and death. There he is offered a deal: to return to his own body in exchange for serving the dark forces, and refusal in this situation is impossible. When he returns, he discovers that he has received someone else's abilities. Now he knows how to subjugate the will of others: he forces people to do as they need to, extracts information and directs events in a favorable direction, and the mentor from the underworld demands an account of every step. The mentor does not explain the rules and tests loyalty: you can disobey, but the price will be high. The plot is presented as an interactive story: scenes follow each other, and the player makes decisions and observes the consequences. The story branches, and some of the forks close off opportunities that will be useful later. The world is populated not only by people: gods and demons play their own games, and in them the hero is assigned the role of a tool, not a partner. The ending and whether he will remain himself depends on how willingly he serves. In addition to the main plot, there are scenes with minor characters, and access to subsequent events depends on communication with them. There is plenty of violence and explicit footage here, so the game is aimed at adults. For those who love dark stories about a deal with the evil spirit and do not expect soft decisions from the plot. Abilities grow along with history: first you manage to influence the weak, then on those who are stronger in will. Some episodes show the consequences of intervention not from the point of view of the hero, but from his victims.
