Description
60 Seconds! Reatomized - a minute is allotted for getting ready. The hero manages to grab the children, a first aid kit, canned food and a couple of useful items, and then goes down into the bunker while a nuclear mushroom rises over the city. Whatever falls into their hands, they will have to live on. Supplies are counted by cans and bottles, and each loss is felt immediately: without water, the family begins to get sick.
The main part begins in the bunker. There is always less water and food than needed, and both neighbors and those who are ready to take supplies by force are knocking at the door. You have to go outside for supplies, and not every outing ends well. Sometimes you can also take the dog with you, and then the outings are more fun, and there are more finds.
Decisions are made at random, but they are remembered for a long time: open the door or remain silent, share food or hide a jar, send someone for supplies or sit in the dark. Some of the scenes are presented as a comic strip with radio and recordings. Outside there are abandoned houses and shops where you can find food or tools, but you will have to run back. Little things like an abandoned toy or an old photograph remind us that someone’s ordinary lives remain behind the scenes.
The edition has been redesigned: the picture has become neater, the interface has become more convenient, and events have been added. Failure is common here, so almost no one manages to survive the first time. Sometimes there are very strange guests, like a merchant or a distant relative, and you have to quickly decide whether to let them in. Some events are repeated from playthrough to playthrough, but the order and circumstances change, so there are no ready-made solutions.
For those who love short stories about survival, where victory depends on one can of stew.
