Terra Nil is a city-building sandbox with pixel graphics. The terrain is drawn in detail, and the task is different from the usual: you need to build without factories and smoking chimneys. Maps are generated anew, so each run is different. Pixelated landscapes change from wasteland to green hills. Calm music accompanies the work. Each run can be completed again and differently. Greenhouses and wastewater treatment plants take up little space. Everything starts with a randomly generated plot and initial capital. The player builds the first houses and launches industries that do not harm the earth, water and air. Gradually the wasteland turns into a green land. There are few tools, but each one is important: cleaning, irrigation, planting. The climate on the map affects the choice of tools. The water is returned to the rivers after filtration. The goal is to make the place the most environmentally friendly in the world. The rivers are cleared, the soil is revived, and the animals come back on their own. The animals return on their own when conditions are right. The stages go one after another: from cleaning to returning nature. Tools work over a limited area, and this is planned. Each stage ends with cleaning the equipment. Each stage must be completed by removing traces of construction. The game is quiet and thoughtful, without rushing. The final stage requires you to remove all equipment after you. Each section is passed over again if the plan was unsuccessful. The water flows back into the riverbeds, and the earth breathes again. This game is suitable for anyone who loves creation without fuss.
